On Hubble finding and seeing things that normal

On April 24, 1990, Hubble finally launched into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. The Hubble was one of the most successful inventions from NASA. It flashed back over hundreds of incredible pictures for scientist to see and observe. It also according to NASA, Hubble played a key role in discovering that a mysterious form of energy called dark energy is acting like a cosmic gas pedal, accelerating the universe’s expansion rate. Dark energy shoves galaxies away from each other at ever-increasing speeds and works in opposition to gravity. Which is a big part of the Big Bang theory, that the Hubble detected. Since earth’s atmosphere blocks out most light. The Hubble soars and orbits high above earth’s atmosphere and gravitational pull. Resulting in the Hubble finding and seeing things that normal telescopes from earth can’t. It has discovered many things that other telescopes couldn’t. Such as, there are over 3,000 galaxies that vary in size while burning in deep space. Also finding many key constellations. Proof sent back by pictures, especially one that was called Hubble deep field. The Hubble deep field was a picture that observed many young developing galaxies. It has became a marker for study of the universe. Other things that the Hubble have found are black holes that suck up everything around it, and it’s discovered dark energy. Dark energy is a unknown form of energy that accelerates the expansion of the universe. Another thing that the Hubble has observed is a gamma-ray burst that comes after a large star explodes. The Hubble was originally made of a faint object camera, wide field and planetary camera 2, a spectrograph, and a high speed photometer, but because of great success from the mission new additional advancements were made to the telescope. A guidance sensor, Near infrared camera, multi- object spectrometer, survey camera, and a wide field camera 3 along with more advanced items. Each trip made to repair the telescope newer equipment was added onto the telescope, so that it could keep feeding back the wonderful photographs the scientist loved. Running off of the sun’s bright sunlight energy, the solar panels allow energy to power the telescope in a way that gives everlasting energy.This high technological advanced telescope has 140 gigabytes of information sent back to earth each continuous week. Which is equivalent to 30,000 songs on a mp3 player, or 45 two- hour long movies. The colors that appear after the after the photographs from the Hubble are not the original pictures. Originally the colors are black and white, but the Space Telescope Science Institute puts color to the pictures for various reasons. Mainly so researchers can understand and classify certain things to get a better look at the pictures meaning, or just to give an idea of how the objects might look to the human eye. Furthermore if they didn’t convert the pictures with colors, scientist may not be able to understand because it would be invisible to the human eye. The Hubble celebrated it’s 27th birthday on April 2017. Scientist have made many missions going to Hubble to fix minor difficulties. The last known mission to repair the Hubble was back in 2009 where the telescope was repaired better than ever. Although no further help will be sent out to the satellite. However, it’s expected to soar at least until 2020 until it’s death. Plans are being made to create a newer telescope that will be known as the Webb. The Webb will be just like the Hubble only more technological advances causing it to be larger. Then another difference is that the Webb will not orbit earth similar to the Hubble, but will orbit the sun as a infrared telescope and collect many pictures. Potentially unlocking many more of the universes untold mysteries.
