On 10/ 09/2017, a colorful and memorable Alumni Meet was organized in University School of Chemical Technology. This event was whole day long and was held in the C-Block auditorium of our school. In this event, many alumni from different batches took part.
The event commenced by the arrival of various alumni from different batches. Then the Chief Guest, Prof. S.S. Sambhi who was the very first dean of the Chemical Department of USCT and currently the president of IIChE north regional centre., delivered a speech. There was a colourful welcome followed by lighting of the lamp.The professsors of USCT warmly welcomed the alumni and delivered speeches to guide them.
Then a Monoact was performed on ‘Shattered dreams’ by Sahil Sharma, 2nd year student of usct. It was followed by a Play on college life by 3rd year students of USCT describing the life moments of a student in the college and how these moments are later turned into memories.
A buffet was organised where alumni, faculty and students enjoyed delicious delicacies .
Dal makhni, Chowmin. It was a truly mesmerizing show as various alumni shared their experiences and interaction between students and alumni was held. usct A video on the journey so far was made by the alumni team and presented by the president of USCT alumni association.The USCT alumni Association also launched the USCT promotional video in that day.
. Everyone sat glued to the show. The Chief Guest praised the entire event a lot. He guided with his inspirational words and inspired to do better . the event was concluded with further talk with the alumni proceeding with a cake cutting ceremony and a group picture of students and the alumni The meet was made possible with the hard work of students and faculty of USCT and the Alumni association that made the meet a success
Everyone really enjoyed a lot and dispersed with a sincere hope that such events should be organized time and again giving the students a chance to display their talents and benefit them as alumni working in the industrial sector can connect the industries to the universities by getting into internships or training.
